Procrastination and performance anxiety

I feel that I have become better at letting go of the blocks that sometimes prevented me from fully carrying out certain activities. I now find it easier to just "go for it" and not worry too much about the outcome or the result. It's easier to make decisions.

I feel like I now have tools to pause in various situations and expose my perfectionism. This helps me to start activities more easily and make decisions more effortlessly, both big and small.

When it comes to playing the organ, I can feel that my mental state around it has improved significantly – I don't feel as much pressure and anxiety.

In hindsight, the therapy gave me a kind of breakdown or separation of the various problems that trouble me, and now it feels easier to clearly see what belongs where. In contrast to before the therapy, when everything felt like one big mess.

People pleasing and performance anxiety

This therapy gave me the opportunity to connect with and understand my inner self, the baggage, and the memories I carry with me. I learned that much of what I struggle with goes back to my childhood and my parents, but also other moments where I felt small and insignificant. At the same time, I learned that these moments weren’t really about me, but about the other people involved. Other people's choices and behaviors are entirely about them, not me. A related insight is that my capacity for compassion, both for others and for myself, has increased.

I liked that it helped me ground myself, relax, and become more confident. I feel that my performance anxiety has decreased. I feel more secure in myself and in what I can actually contribute (especially in work contexts). I’ve become better at setting boundaries, and I can more clearly see which people are good vs. bad for me and my well-being.

People pleasing and social anxiety

I liked that the therapy was deep, which helped me reach deeper layers of healing that I hadn't managed to access on my own. During the sessions, I discovered that I was carrying a lot of suppressed shame, sadness, and anger that needed to be processed.

The therapy helped me gain deeper insights about myself – how much my childhood and teenage years have contributed to negative patterns (such as people-pleasing), but also what I need to do to break these patterns.

I learned that I need to set boundaries for myself. Nowadays, I try to stand my ground and set boundaries. After the program, I feel better and I don’t care as much about what others think of me.

I appreciated that Mattias was clear and professional in his approach, as well as very grounded, attentive, and empathetic during the sessions. I always felt I was in safe hands.

Self-confidence and people pleasing

Mattias is very empathetic, open, and engaged. He creates a welcoming environment where you feel comfortable and safe to open up. I have previously tried traditional therapy, but after being introduced to his method, I wouldn’t choose anything else.

Have processed a lot of trauma and memories from childhood to avoid people pleasing everyone. This will help me when I do business in the future. Today I feel that I dare to stand up for myself more and am no longer afraid to say no or charge what I am worth.

Social anxiety

Something has shifted since I completed the program with Mattias. Through our sessions, I feel a bit lighter at heart and less concerned about what others might think of me. Thanks to the therapy, this burden eased, and I developed a more accepting view of myself and my body.

Fear of failure

I truly appreciated how open and safe I felt to share difficult things and how Mattias used humor and compassion to go deeper in the session. He navigates with intuition and clarity, which leads to exciting paths that I wouldn’t have been able to predict beforehand!

My Approach

I received several sessions from Mattias, and they have been a real contribution to uncovering underlaying beliefs that kept me stuck in my work and my personal life. His approach is intuitive yet methodical, and very supportive.

He also could skillfully and elegantly catch me on the stories I tell myself, for which he uses great questions. That helped to make very different explorations from before and uncover things I definitely couldn't have found on my own.

He also checked thoroughly whether what I was working on was resolved, and would remember parts that had not been covered in a next session.

I felt in good hands, I could trust his skill to get me where I needed to be in a safe manner. He is a good listener. I felt safe to share. I also felt understood, and that felt good as I worked on things where I couldn't always understand myself. In this interaction it was possible for me to work those things out.

An incredibly effective and positive method that helps on an unconscious level. My Approach
